Baby Boston is one week old today. I can't believe how fast the first week has gone by. We have learned so much already. Boston is a really good baby. He only cries if he is hungry or uncomfortable. He sleeps a ton, up to 4 hours at a time at night. I love just staring at him and watching all of his adorable facial expressions. He seems to have a little personality already. He has the cutest little cry and has this squeally scream that makes me laugh. Our life is busy with sleeping, feeding, changing, and staring. Being a mommy is the BEST! It is still surreal that he is OUR baby!
We had Boston's first doctor's appointment on Tuesday. It was really weird filling out the paperwork for our son as his parents. We got into the room and had to undress him to get him weighed. We got sprayed for the first time! Ha Ha! He lost only 2 oz. so the doctor said he is feeding well. We really like his pediatrician and the appointment went well.
Today we had some professional photos taken of our little guy. It was interesting having to get little B up and fed and then get myself ready by a certain time. People weren't lying when they said it takes longer with a baby. The photo shoot went well. He was a little fussy, but did really well for the most part. I got to peek at a couple of the pics when she took them and they were wonderful. We can't wait to see all of them!
Tim has been home with us all week and has been really wonderful. He is an amazing daddy already and has been so sweet and patient with me and my hormonal-needy self. We have had family and friends visit and bring us food and we are SO thankful for that. I don't know what we are going to do next week, when Tim goes back to work. I am emotional thinking about it (no shocker there).
