Boston's 1st Halloween

Our little Teddy Bear
He did not like dressing up...
or he was just mad because he isn't old enough to have candy :)

We think he looked like baby candy corn in this outfit...Ha!

Boston's "big sister" Molly
Molly likes Boston, but won't stay by him close enough for me to snap a picture.

We hope you had a Happy Halloween!

An update in pictures...

Being a good boy while waiting at the doctor

Lots of funny faces!

Looking at Mommy

Sweet little baby

Me: Tim...could you watch him for a minute?
Tim: Of course!
Me, when I got back in the room: Teaching him early, huh? Smile!

Smiling AT us...I LOVE this picture!

mOm! Enough pictures already! :)

Sleeping with his glo-seahorse, helps soothe him after 4am feedings :)

I laid him down for a minute and decided to move the seahorse close so they could get acquainted, he dropped his passy and just stared... So cute!

I glanced back a minute later to find this...
Silly Boston, Seahorse didn't want a kiss :)

Smiling at Daddy...one of my favorites!

"I love you THIS much!"

First time in the carrier

He went right to sleep!

ONE MONTH OLD

It's been a whole month since Boston joined the world. It has gone by so fast. It seems like we just brought him home from the hospital! Little B is continuing to focus more on things and is making a little eye contact. He is so much more alert and awake more often.

A few of his favorite things to stare at include:
the black and white portrait in our living room
the b & w pictures in the book Runaway Bunny
the giraffe in his swing
the blinds/window/headboard of our bed

We had his 1 month check-up today and he is growing so fast! He is now 8 lbs., 7 oz., 21 in.! (just above the 25th percentile for both). He has grown a whole pound and inch! He was staring at the Dr.'s face and followed her for almost a full 180 degrees! She said he could start smiling at us in the next couple of weeks. I can't wait for that!

Here are a few pictures from the past week, enjoy!

THREE WEEKS OLD

On Saturday, Boston watched his 2nd LSU game with his daddy. We actually caught him looking at the t.v. for a few moments! During the past couple of weeks he has been just staring at random things around the room. This week, we have noticed him making more eye contact with us. It is so neat to look him in the eyes and see him looking back. Now we just need to work on him smiling back :).

Tim's parents (GiGi and Pappy) came over for a little while and we got the cutest picture of them with little B.

Saturday night, we went to MomR and Dad's (Amee and PaPierre's) for PaPierre's birthday dinner. This was B's first outing, besides the doctor's office. He got to see the playroom that Amee took so much time setting up. I think he is going to love it when he can actually play someday. He also got to meet his Great Aunt Connie.

On Tuesday, he went to his 2nd doctor's appointment with Dr. Cush-John. First of all, I want to say that we love our pediatrician. She is so sweet and friendly and is great with our baby boy. Boston is now 7lbs. 5 oz. (25th percentile) and 20 in. long (75th percentile). He was 6lbs., 14oz. and 19.5 in. at birth. We are very happy he is growing well and I am a proud momma to know he is eating well!

We went on our first walk in the stroller this week. I was very curious to see how Molly was going to act since she is afraid of the stroller, but she loves walks so much that I didn't think it would be a problem. Well, she cooperated during the walk but stayed beside the stroller and watched the wheels out of the corner of her eye most of the time. She usually walks ahead of me when I walk her, but now she stays right beside us. Boston slept the whole time, so I think he enjoyed the relaxing experience. The walk was a success! The beautiful fall weather made it even more enjoyable!

TWO WEEKS OLD

Two weeks old! I can't believe I have been a mommy for 2 weeks! Tim and I have learned so much already. We are learning so many things about little Boston. He still just does a lot of sleeping, eating, pooping, and staring. I have been feeling better and that makes it easier on me. Tim went back to work this week. It was very emotional for me taking care of little B without his daddy. I know that I won't always get to be there for everything Boston does, but it made me sad to know that Tim couldn't be home with us. I really enjoyed having the 3 of us home during the first week.

This week, Boston got to meet 2 more of his aunts who live out of town. Aunt Sarah (from Boston, MA) and Aunt Hol (from New Orleans). He also met his second cousin Laura (from Lake Charles) and his Great Granny Peg and Great Grandpa Glen (from Los Franos, TX).

No major milestones happened this week, but we think Boston has gained some weight. His second doc appointment is next week so we will see. He has definitely been eating well!

That's about it for week 2. Here are some pics!
